Dr. Lauren Eder

Dr. Eder earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Science, with a minor in Chemistry, from Ohio University in 2004. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2008 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Throughout her clinical training, she rotated through the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Hospital and multiple private practice settings, focusing on ocular disease management, co-managing refractive and cataract surgeries, and low-vision rehabilitation. During her time at Ohio State, Dr. Eder was a member of several student organizations, including the American Optometric Student Association and Epsilon Psi Epsilon Optometric Fraternity. Currently, Dr. Eder is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.

In her spare time, Dr. Eder enjoys watching football (especially the Buckeyes), spending time with her niece and nephews, traveling, hiking, and doing yoga. She’s also an animal lover and lives with her two cats, Charlie and Winnie.
